How to get a Citycard

Having an Easyrider Citycard is a great way to save money, each Citycard is not only free to everyone but also offers the benefits of discounted travel along with great retail, leisure and library savings – so it’s certainly worth having one.

Below is a guide to the basic Easyrider Citycards available together with some information about how and where to apply for one, so what are you waiting for, apply today.

Aged between 18 - 60 years old

The Adult Citycard helps you make more of the City for less. The card is not only free to everyone but also offers the benefits of discounted travel along with great retail, leisure and library savings. You can apply for an Adult Citycard at any city leisure centre, library or the NCT travel centre.

If you are a city resident you'll need to bring proof of your address with you when you apply

Aged under 18 years old

If your under 18 years old you can get your hands on a Citycard 360. Your Citycard 360 gives you all the benefits of the adult card including discounted travel, great retail discounts and library and leisure centre access. Currently you can only apply for a Citycard 360 at the NCT travel centre.

Please note you will need to bring proof of age when applying for a Citycard 360

Aged under 11

The under 11 Citycard has all the same benefits as the Adult Easyrider Citycard and Citycard 360. You can get apply for an under 11 Citycard at any library, leisure centre or the NCT travel centre.

Concessionary Citycards

Concessionary Citycards are issued as part of the English National Concessionary Travel scheme. Because these Citycards provide additional benefits there is a different application process from other Citycards. Concessionary Citycards are only available to permanent city residents.

City Residents of retirement age

The Senior Citycard is available to permanent city residents of retirement age. As well as libraries as leisure the Senior Citycard also gives free travel as part of the English National Travel Concession. More information about the travel benefits can be found here.

City residents with a qualifying disability

The Mobility and Mobility+ Citycard is available to permanent city residents with a qualifying disability. As well as libraries as leisure the Mobility Citycard also gives free travel as part of the English National Travel Concession. More information about the travel benefits can be found here.
