Using your Adult Citycard for bus travel

You can top up your Citycard with bus travel at the NCT Travel Centre in the Market Square. The more days you buy, the more you save. For more information on top up's click here

Any travel on your card has no expiry date so it can be used whenever you want.

To use your Citycard, simply hold your pass in front of the red card reader as you board the bus.

Your family/friends can borrow your Adult Citycard to use on the bus. Please note, all other Citycard services are non transferable.

Citycards can be used on all NCT buses (within the City area) as well as bus Park & Ride services.

Adult Citycards cannot be used on the tram.
