Can I get an Adult Citycard?

If you are between 18 and 59 and are a Nottingham City resident, you are eligible for a free Adult Citycard.

I've received a card with the wrong name on it or my name has changed

If you have been sent a card that is addressed to someone else or for any reason your name has changed we will send you a replacement card free of charge. To find out how click here

What happens if I lose my Adult Citycard?

If you lose your card, you will need to go to any City library or leisure centre or the NCT Travel Centre and ask for a replacement. A new card will then be posted to you within 5 working days. Any travel left on your old card will be carried over to your new card. A small charge (£2) will be made for a replacement card.

I already have a leisure card / library card. What should I do?

If you already have a library card or leisure card (Flexible 10), your membership will be transfered to your Citycard on your next visit to the library or leisure centre respectively.

Can someone else use my card?

You may lend your Adult Citycard to another person to use as a travel card, however for all other functions (leisure, libraries, discounts, prize draws) it is not transferable and can only be used by the person named on the card.

I have an easyrider city bus pass. Can I transfer it onto my Adult Citycard?

No, this is not possible. Effectively your Citycard works as an easyrider anytime pass. You buy a certain amount of days travel and use them as and when you want (they do not expire).

Where can I use my card?

Your Adult Citycard can be used in any City or County library. Click here for more information about using your card at a library.

It can be used at the City of Nottingham Tennis Centre and all City leisure centres where you will receive up to 10% off a wide range of activities. Click here for more information about using your card for leisure.

It can also be used as a bus card on all NCT services in the City area. You can top up your card with travel at the NCT Travel Centre in the Market Square. Click here for more information about using your card on the bus.
