I've registered my Citycard, but it's still not working?

Registration takes between 24 and 48 hours to complete.  If your card still isn't working after 48 hours, please contact us with your name, address and Citycard number and we'll have a look into it.

I don't have a Citycard, how can I get one?

Citycards are free to everyone, whether you're a city resident or not.  To get a Citycard, simply pop into any City Council library or leisure centre and fill in an application.  You will need to take proof of ID with you and proof of address.  Citycard usually take up to 10 working days to arrive.

Do I have to be a city resident to get a Citycard?

No, anyone can get a Citycard!  See above for information on how to apply.

Do I have to have a Citycard to use the scheme?

Not necessarily.  If you want to park your own bike in the cycle hubs, or if you want to hire a bike for more than a day, then you do need a Citycard.

If you just want to hire a bicycle for the day, you can hire a bicycle using your mobile phone and you don't need to have a Citycard. Find out more about mobile phone bicycle hire.
